
Introduction:
Video Production technology surrounds with creation and manipulation of video for commercial films,
short films, serials, web series, advertisements, documentaries, corporate presentations and
promotions. To be a successful video producer and editor one needs to have adequate knowledge in
Video Theory, Script Writing, Lighting, Camera Techniques, Direction, Non-Linear Editing and Visual
Effects.
Nowadays, technology is getting advanced day by day. Analog system is now taken over by digital
technology, and it is enhancing continuously. Every aspirant of video production must take formal and
progressive education which gives in-depth knowledge and practical aspect of this profession.
Objectives:
- Understand video and audio basics necessary for modern video production.
- Judge video composition & quality and become more attentive towards script, screenplay, lighting,
sound and camera techniques - Identify video production gears and signal flow in the studio
- Understand the concepts and terminology used in video production and post-production
environment - Apply core concepts and skills needed to operate Avid Media Composer and other non-linear
editing systems in a professional post-production environment - Fundamental understanding of visual effects for use in a non-linear video environment
Produce and Edit video in a commercial studio and outdoor with competitive quality - Access to world-class production and post-production studio with cutting edge technology
