B.A. (Music Production)

Introduction:

A comprehensive, full-time degree program that provides students the ability to build a career in the rapidly growing media and entertainment industry, providing employability as well as entrepreneurial prospects.

Objectives:

• Gain in-depth understanding of the Physics of Sound, Recording Studio Operations, Film Sound, Live Sound, Music Production
• Gain understanding of Digital Audio Workstations (DAW) for music production
• Gain understanding of different musical genres
• Gain understanding of musical approach for different mediums
• Gain ability to compose, arrange, and program music for media
• Gain understanding of studio, stage, and outdoor sound equipment
• Gain ability to creatively use the Technology/Software to compose Music
• Gain ability to creatively use the Technology/Software to design soundscape for Films, Television, and Games
• Gain understanding of mixing and mastering audio tracks
• Gain ability to work in the live sound scenarios
