
Introduction:
Bachelor of Arts in Digital Film making is a comprehensive course which provides profound knowledge,
technical and practical skills and deeper understanding of the motion picture industry. Students will be
able to express their ideas in the form of compelling audio-visual stories and create a niche for
themselves in the highly competitive world of digital film making.
Objectives:
- T0 have an in-depth understanding about the entire digital film making process and the historical
development of cinema and production with a profound understanding of the techniques and
technology used in the industry. - To acquire all the technical and practical skills required to operate various film equipment and
software in order to record a moving image and sound production effectively. - To become a storyteller and creatively formulate an idea or a story into compelling moving image
production in the form of short films which would appeal to broad audiences.
Program Highlights:
- Program structure is inclined with industry standards and designed by experienced industry
experts and academicians. - Short film projects and assignments such as fiction short film, corporate AV, music video,
documentary short, studio-based production. - Hands-on training on various professional camera equipment, post-production software such as
Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer and Adobe Creative Cloud Collection. - Interactive sessions with experts from industry, workshops, industrial visits and study tours to
production houses, studios, reality shows, TV channels and film sets.
